Hey everyone! Are you an emergency medicine provider? Whether you are a seasoned attending or interested medical student there is something for you at #CAEP21. The annual meeting of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) is happening virtually on June 15-17, 2021 with a pre-conference day on June 14th! Although there are loads of reasons to join us at the conference below are just 5 reasons to register:

1. International Plenary Speakers
This year’s virtual format has afforded us the opportunity to attract international experts in Emergency Medicine to give practice-changing talks. We have NINE plenary speakers this year including Scott Weingart (EMCrit), André Picard (The Globe & Mail), Judith Tintinalli (author of Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine) and many more!!

2. Cutting-Edge Educational Content
We all have those charts that we dread picking up, whether it’s the patient with vertigo, the weird rash, the patient with visual symptoms or the peds patient with vomiting and abdominal pain (is it really gastro?). Why not learn from national experts to level up your knowledge? This year’s content covers a broad variety of topics

3. So Many Workshops!
We have 15, that’s right, FIFTEEN workshops this year!!! We have so much amazing content planned for you. Here’s but a taste – a virtual airway masterclass with the airway guru himself, Dr. George Kovacs! Debriefing 101, CJEM writing workshop, Leadership and resilience workshops, Trans 101, Fundamentals of QIPS, MedEd research primer, High-stakes ECGs, The future of emergency medicine, and much more!

4. All Content is ON DEMAND
We know you are all busy, particularly this year of all years! So we’ve worked hard to make sure that all content is recorded and available to you ON-DEMAND to fit your shift schedule! The most up-to-date, cutting edge information at your fingertips when you need it the most! All content will be available for 6 months after the conference for your viewing convenience!

5. Interactive Social Platform
Our virtual format maintains the interactivity of a regular conference.  Social events include wine tasting masterclass with Dr. Al Drummond, mixology classes, escape rooms, painting classes, tours of Winnipeg and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, a fundraising fun run and daily fitness classes! There will also be many networking opportunities through virtual social lounges. CAEP21 will help you connect with colleagues and friends across the country!

We hope to see you there! Register today! For more information, check out the conference website at www.caepconference.ca
